Once we have received your application, it will be reviewed by a committee where your application will have a score assigned. Once this is completed, your application will be placed on the wait list. Note that the members of this committee are HIV+ and are members in good standing with Wings Housing Society.
No portable subsidy or tenancy agreement is offered based solely on point score. Both point score and an interview with the Society’s Administrative Assistant and/or a member in good standing with Wings Housing Society are needed to secure an offer of housing assistance. At the time of the interview we will require your social insurance number, your birth date and income documentation.
An offer of housing assistance comes with obligations and responsibilities for you and for Wings Housing Society. Failure to meet these expectations may mean loss of housing. If you are granted a housing subsidy, you will be placed on a six month trial period.
